The Difference is Our People

LOGAN is very proud of our staff. They are the ones who set our mission into motion each and every day. In doing so, they are the ones who make all the difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.

When we hire new staff, we invite them to join the LOGAN Family. So, it is very important that we make sure that they are the right kind of people. It is vital that all of our staff embrace the LOGAN values—Respect, Kindness, Honesty, Loyalty, Quality—as they go about their work. That is why we asked a team of staff to participate in the making of a video to recruit new employees. We asked our ‘stars’ to speak from their hearts, sharing what it is like to work at LOGAN. We are very excited to share this new video with you. As you will see, the cast was simply amazing!

Here are some excerpts from our LOGAN ‘stars’:

“LOGAN has made a difference in the world and that’s because of the people. Whatever the situation might be—whether it’s caring for someone in the home or providing therapy to a kid that has a developmental delay, you’re actually supporting and helping a human being’s life to be more successful. It’s not LOGAN that makes that happen, it’s our staff that make that happen. And that’s why it’s such a special place to work.” -Clint Bolser, CEO

“You have to want to help people. They’re all different and you have to look for the good qualities in all of them. I am thankful every day for people like (the LOGAN staff).”
-Judy Birkner, Parent

“We have to treat them just like anybody else. We have to just love them. Thank God He made me who I am to help somebody who is not like me.” -Paul Davies, Program Coordinator

“Every single day that I go to work, I go home and I feel that I have accomplished something. I’ve helped someone’s quality of life become more than it was the day before. Some people are born to be doctors. Some are born to be bankers.  I was born to be at LOGAN. I was born to be a friend - to someone who probably didn’t have a friend.” -Alicia Hood, Recreation Assistant

“You will definitely be taking away more than the client will. You leave much happier, much more at peace in your own mind with the work you’re doing – because you’re making such a huge difference in their day. But it makes you feel like you’re making a difference for the world.” -Nathaly Ruvalcaba, Habilitation Instructor

“(Working at LOGAN) has kind of filled that void that I didn’t really know I had until I found it. I get a lot of comments from people—‘I could never do what you do’—but a lot of people don’t know until they try.” -Alicia Sirovica, Habilitation Instructor
